This is great news. Spring is going to be pretty sweet this year.
-New Halo 2 Maps
-Halo 3 Beta
-Forza 2 Demo
Excellent content, and you can get all of it for $4. ;)
I expect to see the "Derelict" remake map be a part of the upcoming MLG season, cause it's symmetrical.
480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p.
HDMI cable = NO, composite (not component) cables = yes
This movie SUCKED BALLS and I'm still pissed I paid $20 to see it in the theaters. This movie shouldn't be allowed to play in any player, let alone my precious 360 add-on.
previous versions of the Colin McRae series have had great gameplay in the past. They were one of the first series to introduce online gameplay for a racing game, and it was well executed. I'm really excited about this game and think it will take Motorstorm's idea and turn it into a real racing sim. This game is on my list.
The real question is whether or not I get it for PS3 or 360?
I notice that you always seem to slip in comments that have no relevance to anything, and typically are obscene or angry. Yet, you manage to have 5 bubbles still. Pretty amazing if you ask me.
360 ELITE:
If you're entering the next gen console market then the ELITE may well be worth it. If you're a previous 360 owner, then the HDMI is the only reason.
I got all the information I could want about the 360 Elite. I'm going to get one for the HDMI and HDD, plus I just like black better for some reason.
I'm a little bummed about no Wi-Fi. I'm sure MS had another reason than just making money on the Wi-Fi add on. :(
C'mon man. This isn't a fanboy thing, it's a news article talking about 20,000 pre-orders being canceled. This isn't a positive thing. You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that, however, don't be blinded by fanboy glasses and say this isn't that bad of news.
I'm a 360/MS fan, at the moment (I'm rooting for ALL systems but I dig the 360's games/features), but when news like this is posted about the 360 I'm not saying to myself "Great News"...instead I'm say...
...it could be 20,000 that decided to get a 360, Wii, new PC, or whatever. I don't care how YOU see it, but to everyone else it has to be a negative.
Yesterday I bought a new receiver with multiple HDMI inputs, so now I can house a 360 elite. I'm pumped!
...that at my local Best Buy they only display one PS3 so it "looks" like it's selling, but I've been told that they always have 6-10 in stock. They don't display them to create an illusion.
...SELLING GAMES. Sure it's disappointing when your favorite console loses one of it's exclusive games, but it's not what these artists work for. A 3rd party developer are trying to make great games so people will buy/play them. I'm a musician, and I make music for people to hear it...NOT to make money from it (although that's the added bonus). If a console manufacturer (MS, Sony, Nintendo) has the dough to make a game an exclusive, then more power to them. However, I'm sure it's not the firs...
With the budget and technology there is HUGE potential. This game could be great. The point I was making was that until we see some "real" screens or gameplay there is no point in saying that this game will rock.
I guess I don't understand everyone talking about how this game is "gonna pwn" or is "sick". There is absolutely no precedent for these kind of comments. The first Killzone sucked balls, and all of a sudden Sony shows us a CGI trailer and we're suppose to assume this is game is going to be the best ever? This is the exact reason this game will fail, cause the hype is already too huge for a game that really isn't that good (based on the first one).
This is mu...
...your comments are representative of many people on this forum. When there are changes made to the system, or new features added that aren't a part of the original purchase, we feel like we are owed something. CONSUMERS ARE OWED NOTHING for these kind of things. If you bought the HD-DVD add on, and it fails then us consumers shouldn't expect anything. It's not MS fault that HD-DVD failed (in this hypothetical situation), and it's not our fault. This stuff happens.

that's all
OMG! This is the first developer to come out and say that they prefer to develop for the 360. I can't believe it. No one has said anything like this before.
Wake Up Fony Fanboys!
Half of those games you listed will never see the light of day in 2007, and some are even 2-3 years away. I can list you just as many AAA titles coming to the 360 THIS YEAR.
Mass Effect
Bioshock
Halo 3
Halo Wars
Too Human
GTA IV
VF5
Huxley
Forza 2
Blue Dragon
Lost Odyssey
Assassin's Creed
...more
Anyone can sit there and create a list of great titles to come out over the next few...
You're trying to compare two totally different games? Yes, they are the same genre, but neither is trying to capture realism. They're both arcade style games that use different models to achieve the arcade feel. DOA series has always had brighter colors, which gives it a more surreal look, whereas VF5 takes a different approach. Both are established developers and both make great games.
Basically, this is a waste of time.
I see that a few people have "disagreed" with MART's comment. How? What's to disagree with in that comment? Please let me know.
Anyway, this game looks good and I'll probably get it. When this releases it will be the third PS3 exclusive worth buying, the other two are R:FOM and Motorstorm.
